Position Overview: We are seeking a Bilingual Dental Assistant who is detail-oriented, friendly, and motivated to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Open Dental , proficiency with the iTero scanner , strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, and a passion for creating a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist patients with a warm and professional demeanor. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficiency. Take and process dental X-rays. Perform iTero digital scans for restorative, orthodontic, and cosmetic treatments. Enter and update patient records in Open Dental accurately. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow. Provide post-operative instructions to patients in both English and Spanish. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and notify when restocking is needed. Qualifications: Bilingual â Fluent in English and Spanish (required). At least 2 year of dental assisting experience (preferred). Proficiency with Open Dental software (required). Experience using iTero scanner (preferred). Current Texas RDA certification and X-ray license. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
