Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist/Insurance Coordinator to join our vibrant and growing dental practice. Good strong candidate will be someone with great communication skills. Responsibilities Answer the phone calls, greet patients warmly, verify the insurance coverages, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures on the dental practice management software, manage schedule, present treatment plans, collect patient co pays and insurance billing, follow up with patients. Process insurance claims, follow up on unpaid claims, and perform collections for outstanding balances using dental billing and coding knowledge. Some clinical work for may also be required Presenting treatment plans to patients and translate in Spanish will be an important part of the job . Experience Previous experience in a position requiring interaction with customers or patients is a plus. Basic knowledge with word/office/pdf document handling is a plus Proven experience working in a dental or medical office environment with strong familiarity in dental terminology and medical coding practices is not mandatory but very useful. Bilingual abilities are highly valued. Good bilingual candidate will also have good translation skills in addition to speaking Spanish and understand the importance of translating adequately to avoid misunderstanding during translation Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Previous clinic or dental office experience is not mandatory but beneficial Pay Based on knowledge and experience plus bonus on performance ($18 - 28 + performance bonus) Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional patient care through efficient administrative support.
