Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Gainesville, VA

We are looking for a dependable, skilled, and motivated dental assistant to join our team as we launch and grow our practice. Responsibilities Assist the dentist with restorative, cosmetic, crown and bridge, implant, and other dental procedures as trained and authorized. Assist with Invisalign cases, including digital scans, patient records, case preparation, aligner delivery, and patient instructions. Fabricate, trim, adjust, and polish temporary crowns and provisional restorations. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before procedures. Maintain sterilization, infection-control, and clinical safety standards. Take dental X-rays in accordance with applicable Virginia requirements. Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment. Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation. Monitor dental supplies and keep operatories clean, organized, and ready for patient care. Coordinate with the dentist and front desk team to maintain an efficient schedule. Support a professional, friendly, and positive patient experience. Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred. Must have a dental X-ray/radiology certificate or credential that meets applicable Virginia requirements. Hands-on experience with Invisalign workflows strongly preferred. Experience fabricating temporary crowns and provisional restorations strongly preferred. Familiarity with digital impressions and intraoral scanners is a plus. Knowledge of dental instruments, clinical procedures, sterilization, and infection control. Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Dependable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented. Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow with a new dental practice.
