Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. DAILY RATE IS DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing dental and medical terminology to diagnose oral health issues accurately. Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalized treatment plans that address each patientâs needs. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed using aseptic techniques during all procedures. Communicate clearly with patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions to foster trust and understanding. Maintain proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes. Assist in dental fabrication processes and support other team members during four-handed dentistry procedures for efficiency. Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education related to pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, implantology, endodontics, and other specialties. Requirements Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist. Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and implant procedures. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and infection control standards. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient care and education. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical documentation and patient privacy. Experience working within a dental clinic environment with a commitment to high-quality patient care and safety standards. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and aseptic techniques necessary for surgical procedures.
