Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced tools such as digital X-rays and 3D imaging systems. Diagnose dental conditions accurately utilizing comprehensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and healthcare diagnosis principles. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services including dental restorations, such as composite fillings , prosthodontics such as partials and dentures and restoring dental implants. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-care instructions while fostering a welcoming environment. Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in accordance with legal standards and best practices. Support the dental team in implementing infection control measures and ensuring the clinic’s adherence to OSHA standards. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in general dentistry procedures and technologies. Skills . Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices. Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Skilled in performing dental prosthodontics (crowns, bridges),including restoring implants. Ability to diagnose effectively using dental imaging tools and interpret medical imaging results accurately. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure patient privacy and legal compliance. Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
