Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Milpitas, CA
We are currently seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team at Foothill Square Dental.
Position Details:
- Role: Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
- Schedule: Part TIme/ Full-Time, currently looking for Wednesdays 7-4 and Friday 8-5
- Pay Rate: $67 - $70 / hour
- Benefits: Medical insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), and retirement plan options for full time
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, periodontal screenings, and preventive treatments (fluoride, sealants).
- Take digital X-rays and accurately update patient medical/dental records and clinical findings.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and home care.
- Identify signs of oral health issues and communicate findings to the dentist.
- Maintain strict sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance protocols.
Qualifications:
- Active State Dental Hygienist License
- Accredited Dental Hygiene degree & current CPR/BLS certification
- Radiology certification (as required by state regulations
- Dentrix expeience recommended but not mandatory
