Overview We are seeking a responsible and friendly Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our dental practice. This dual-role position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a welcoming environment while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, and capable of managing both clinical support and front desk responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and handle patient inquiries professionally Assist the dental team with preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing equipment Support the dentist during procedures as needed, including passing instruments and ensuring patient comfort Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the system Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance processing, and appointment reminders Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and inviting Foster a positive experience for patients by demonstrating professionalism, responsibility, and attentiveness Requirements Previous experience as a dental assistant or receptionist is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Organized with attention to detail in managing appointments and records Responsible, dependable, and able to work well within a team Knowledge of dental terminology and office management software is a plus but not required We are looking for a dedicated individual who takes pride in their work and values responsibility.
