Key Responsibilities Take high-quality digital dental X-rays in accordance with applicable regulations and office protocols. Prepare, clean, and organize treatment rooms before and after patient appointments. Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and other clinical treatments. Anticipate the dentist’s needs by preparing instruments, materials, and equipment in advance. Follow infection-control procedures, sterilization protocols, and applicable safety standards. Communicate clearly and professionally with patients in English and Spanish. Help patients feel comfortable by providing compassionate, respectful, and attentive care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support efficient daily office operations. Contribute to a positive team environment through reliability, initiative, and professionalism. Participate in ongoing learning and maintain current knowledge of dental assisting procedures. Qualifications Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credentials or applicable state-required qualifications. At least five years of dental assisting experience preferred. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of dental instruments, digital X-rays, sterilization, and infection-control procedures. Ability to work effectively with the dentist, dental team, and patients.
