About Us Baywest Family Dental is looking for an experienced, dependable, and organized Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about patient care, knowledgeable in dental procedures, and able to help keep our office running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment for patient care. Follow proper sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols. Maintain dental equipment and ensure instruments are properly cleaned and organized. Monitor dental supplies, manage inventory, and place supply orders as needed. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of dental experience. Previous experience working as a Dental Assistant is required. Strong knowledge of dental instruments, dental supplies, and dental procedures is required. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail. Availability to work the full-time schedule outlined below. Preferred Software Experience Experience with the following dental software is an asset: Open Dental Weave (phones and patient communication) Dental Intel (paperless forms and consents) Dexis and Romexis (digital X-rays) Work Schedule Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Alternating Fridays: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM and/or alternating Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
