Job Overview Join this small office as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care! In this energetic role, you will support clinical care and front desk needs for this office where Dr. Rauch has practiced 36+ years. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments and setting up necessary equipment according to infection prevention management protocols. Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including X-ray imaging, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments. Take and develop dental X-rays. Manage patient records accurately. Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, reviewing and documenting medical histories, Perform dental instrument processing and sterilization procedures following aseptic technique to uphold infection control standards. Use dental software to document procedures completed, to be used for accounting and billing to patients and insurance carriers. Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry, and oral surgery. Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dental assisting practices. Hands-on experience with dental equipment including X-ray machines, and sterilizers, Demonstrated expertise in infection prevention management, aseptic technique, and dental sterilization procedures. Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently while maintaining a focus on patient comfort and safety. Strong understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control policies combined with excellent communication skills to support both patients and team members effectively.Join us in making a difference through compassionate care and technical excellence!
