Here at Mission Dental we are a privately owned general dentistry practice looking for a dependable, and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team! Our practice consists of one dentist, one hygienist, and two dental assistants. We are looking for an RDA who is not only confident clinically but also proactive, organized, and communicates well with the team. Position Details Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday Hours: Approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Start time: Flexible between 8:00 and 8:30 AM for the right candidate Software: Eaglesoft Key Responsibilities Provide efficient chairside assistance Help manage the daily patient schedule by monitoring appointment flow, anticipating delays, and communicating with the team to keep the day running smoothly Prepare for upcoming appointments ensuring treatment rooms, instruments, and materials are ready Monitor clinical supplies and inventory, maintain appropriate stock levels, and communicate ordering needs before items run low Keep clinical areas organized, stocked, and ready for daily patient care Coordinate with the dentist, hygienist, and fellow assistant to support an efficient workflow Take initiative in identifying and addressing day-to-day clinical needs before they become problems Maintain consistent sterilization, infection control, and clinical safety standards Qualifications Previous experience in general dentistry; experienced candidates preferred Strong clinical skills and confidence working chairside Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills Ability to prioritize tasks, anticipate needs, and work independently Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative What We Offer A friendly, close-knit team and supportive work environment A consistent three-day workweek Flexible start time for the right candidate Paid holidays Paid sick time Continuing education (CE) opportunities Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: Continuing education credits Employee discount Opportunities for advancement Paid sick time Paid time off Professional development assistance Safety equipment provided Work Location: In person
