Dental Hygienist needed in our dental office

Our private FFS practice is looking for a part-time hygienist to join our team on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and occasional Thursdays. We are looking for a reliable, knowledgeable provider who is organized and has excellent communication skills. Our boutique practice prides itself in our exceptional patient experience. Typical hygiene appointments are 60 mins, with 1-hr allotted per quad SRP.

We are willing to train the right individual who is:

• Friendly, welcoming, and presentable
• Computer savvy
• Self managed, with time management skills
• Positive and has a great energy!

Some expected responsibilities include:

• HYG: prophy, perio maintenance, SRP, laser therapy, Fluoride
• Patient education: oral hygiene recommendations
• Reviewing medical history, assessing patient's oral health
• Co-diagnosis: identifying areas of possible decay and compromised restorations and working with the dentist to manage patient's care
• Documenting patient's recommended care and treatment plan
• Taking Digital x-rays
• Taking intraoral photos to help educate patients
• Itero scanning (we will train!)
