Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistant with experience in oral and periodontal surgery who is committed to providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and a team player with strong communication skills. You should have a keen eye for detail, be highly organized, and possess a genuine desire to help patients achieve their best oral health.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and oral/periodontal surgery.
• Set up and break down operatory post-treatment.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling).
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary, including scheduling, billing, and maintaining patient records.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions with patients and team members.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in California.
• CPR certification.
• X-Ray certification.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Experience assisting in oral/periodontal surgeries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Open Dental software, iTero, etc.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
