Job Description

Our office is currently seeking an outgoing, kind and goal driven dental assistant as an addition to our established family practice. We offer competitive pay and benefits and an aggressive incentive program based on performance.

RESPONSIBLILITIES:

• Assist the dentist with a variety of treatment procedures

• Support the success of the clinicians to ensure a great patient experience

• Set up and breakdown treatment rooms

• Take dental radiographs (x-rays) as needed

• Manage infection control- prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment

• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures

• Educate patients on recommended treatment and appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

• Manage dental supply inventory

• Communicate with labs as needed

• Communicate effectively with team members and patients

REQUIREMENTS:

• X-Ray certification in Arizona

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

• Dentrix experience is a plus
