Irwin Dentistry is a private family dental practice serving Orange County for over 30 years. We strive to provide comprehensive dental services to patients of all ages, and our team is committed to delivering high-quality care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. We are excited to be able to add a new dental assistant to our dedicated team.

Role Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, vibrant, team player to add to our thriving dental practice. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for:

Assisting chairside during general dental procedures
Taking digital x-rays
Sterilizing and setting up instruments and equipment, such as x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials
Maintaining equipment
Maintaining patient records
Stocking supplies
Perform lab tasks
Taking alginate impressions
Assisting Front Office with phone calls and scheduling as needed

Schedule:

7:45am-5pm

Qualifications

Passion and positivity are super important qualities to bring to our office.
Experience in assisting chairside, taking x-rays and impressions
Knowledge of general dental procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
Familiar with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of California (preferred)
Ability to work as part of a team
Experience in using Dentrix dental software and Dexis
