Dental Assistant - Dynamic Dental Care - Allentown, PA

```Duties:```- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment- Prepare patients for treatment by taking their medical history and vital signs- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, including passing instruments and materials- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's appointment calendar
```Requirements:```- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent work experience- X-ray certification in accordance with state regulations- Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
