DENTAL ASSISTANT (Experience Preferred) - Etheridge Dentistry - Battle Creek, MI

We at Etheridge Dentistry are blessed with continued growth. We have had some changes with our team as well. The changes have been due to out of state moves and family needs. We are looking for a DA that is looking for their dental home to stay and help continue to give our patients the stability and care they deserve. We have some of the patients ever!!
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take dental x-rays- Prepare and maintain dental materials, such as cements and impression materials- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring models and trimming plaster casts- Schedule patient appointments and maintain dental records- Assist with front office tasks, such as answering phone calls and managing patient paperwork
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent- X-ray certification- Strong patient assessment skills- Understanding of dental coding and billing practices- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
