Job Description
Stone Oak Family Dentist a leading pioneer in providing emergency dental services to patients across the country. We are committed to delivering quality direct-to-consumer care by using our breakthrough collaboration methods with our on-site medical team (Urgent Care 24 7). We provide much-needed emergency care to patients who otherwise would have to wait possibly days for pain relief. Stone Oak Family Dentist is currently operating over 200 clinics across the country providing emergency care to patients who otherwise would have to wait possibly days for pain relief.
Our fee-for-service model and 3rd party financing allows our team to focus on delivering optimal treatment for our patients without having insurance companies dictate treatment. Due to continued growth, we are seeking full or part time Dental Assistants to join our team! You will be responsible for providing excellent patient service and maintaining high patient satisfaction. There is plenty of room for growth as we expand our services and learn more about what makes people tick!
Qualifications:
Active EXPERIENCE Dental Assistant License in the state you live in. We will check your work if you have a current license.
Must be willing to work 40 hours per week on average during business hours.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be comfortable working with patients of all ages, ethnicities, and cultures.
Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to write professional job descriptions and maintain accurate patient records.
Job Duties:
Assisting the dentist during the procedure by making sure the patient is comfortable during the procedure, is able to communicate with her or him during the procedure, and is able to lift them off the table afterward.
Taking and recording medical information; writing up patient charts
Providing excellent communication skills and service to patients' parents or guardians; answering their questions about treatment; keeping patients updated about their condition during each visit
Cleaning and sterilizing instruments after use
