Dental Assistant - EviDent Family Dentistry and Implants - New Albany, IN

Fresh Grads Welcome! We'd like to welcome a new dental assistant to our office in downtown New Albany! We're a private practice dental office with investment in the latest technology, and we're looking for someone who is willing to learn the latest dental techniques. Family environment with the other employees, we want someone who is willing to love the people they work with and the patients they are serving.
Monday through Thursday, though opportunities in the future could allow for Fridays as needed and acceptable by dental team.

We're looking for assistants of various levels of experience, though are happy to work with fresh graduates of EDDA programs.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and managing instruments.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring aseptic techniques are followed.
Take and develop dental radiographs while adhering to safety protocols.
Document patient information and treatment plans in EMR systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, fostering a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

Preferred EDDA graduate
Required Indiana X-ray license: DANB
Coronal polishing is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
