OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team once a week . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the highest standards of dental hygiene. This position involves working closely with patients, assisting in their dental health, and collaborating with the dental team to promote overall wellness.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Utilize Open Dental software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments efficiently.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in the management of infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and any necessary follow-up care.
Stay updated on dental terminology and best practices in general dentistry to provide informed patient care.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical records management and knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
Strong understanding of infection control procedures within a clinical environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are essential for success in this role.
