Dental Hygienist - Goshen Dental Health - West Chester, PA

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our practice, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing a variety of dental hygiene procedures, educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices, and supporting the dentist during clinical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform dental hygiene procedures such as teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
Take and develop dental x-rays
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as recommended
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history as necessary

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental hygienist
Proficiency in aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, medical terminology, and oral health practices
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
Experience with electronic health record systems, particularly Open Dental
Ability to take vital signs and perform patient assessments
Valid state dental hygienist license
