Lead RDA/Dental Assistant needed in our San Diego, CA dental office

Our growing private dental practice in the heart of Pacific Beach is looking for a dedicated DA or RDA to become a vital part of our team. This full-time position is from Monday to Thursday, plus a half-day one Friday each month.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
• Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for patient procedures.
• Maintain accurate dental records and patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist chairside with efficiency and professionalism
• Capture high-quality radiographs, intraoral photos and scans
• Provide exceptional patient education and build trust through effective communication
• Maintain equipment and inventory to ensure smooth operations
• Knowledge of Dentrix, iTero, and Invisalign is a plus

Requirements

• Current x-ray license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of infection control procedures
• Experience in assisting with various dental procedures
