Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take X-rays as directed by the dentist, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Monitor vital signs as needed during procedures to ensure patient safety.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Support the front office with dental receptionist duties when necessary, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
Assist in various specialties such as Prosthodontics, Endodontics, and Pediatrics as required.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Familiarity with dental systems and procedures is advantageous.
Knowledge of infection control practices is essential.
Experience in taking X-rays is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
