OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals by ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires proficiency in various dental assisting tasks, familiarity with dental systems, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Take X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Utilize a 3D scanner for capturing accurate impressions and images.
Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental or similar dental software systems.
Monitor and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and treatment areas.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Experience
Previous experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to general dentistry is advantageous.
Proficiency in using dental equipment, including X-ray machines and 3D scanners.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records and clinic operations.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
