Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and familiarity with dental clinic operations. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Utilize medical imaging systems to capture diagnostic images as needed.
Review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans based on assessment findings.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care and support clinic operations.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix is preferred.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience in documentation review and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is an advantage.
