Dental Hygienist position - Peoria, AZ area

We are a private dental office seeking a compassionate, caring Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Working hours

8am - 4pm Monday through Wednesday

Core Duties

• Perform professional dental cleanings (prophy, gingival scaling, SRP and full mouth debribement)

• Take diagnoseable dental X-rays

• Assess patients’ oral health and review medical histories

• Screen for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis and periodontal disease

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care

• Chart and document patient findings accurately

• Assist the dentist during examinations as needed

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized operatory

• Clean and set up operatory 

• Follow infection control and sterilization protocols

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and ensure patient comfort

• Communicate clearly with patients and team members

• confirm patients and schedule for next appointment 
• follow up after SRP
