Hello!! We are currently seeking a Floating Back-Office Dental Assistant and Front Office Administration to join our amazing dental family!
We’re a well-established, privately owned General Dentistry practice in Rancho Santa Margarita, proudly serving generations of families in our community. Our beautifully appointed, state-of-the-art office is known for its upbeat and positive atmosphere—and our team is like family, with many staff members having been with us for years!
What We’re Looking For:
We’re searching for a motivated and friendly Dental Assistant to support our back office and occasionally assist with front office responsibilities. While experience is required, a great personality, genuine care for patients, and a strong sense of teamwork are what matter most to us!
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and seat patients with warmth and professionalism
- Break down, sterilize, and set up operatories
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Take dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate dental records and lab cases using Dentrix
- Uphold infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment
- Help manage appointments, confirmations, and occasional reception duties
- Collaborate with our amazing team to provide exceptional patient care
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Some experience in dental assisting is required
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of infection control practices
- Previous experience in general dentistry is ideal
Working Hours:
- Starting at 2-3 days per week (with potential for more)
- Flexible scheduling available for the right candidate
