Job description
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Proficient in dental scanning , making temporaries and 3D printing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history- Update and maintain patient medical records and documentation.- Assist with dental lab tasks, such as pouring impressions and trimming models- Provide support to front office staff, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred- X-ray certification required- Experience working in a private practice setting
The successful candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team. They must also demonstrate empathy and patience when working with pediatric patients.
