This position requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, medical terminology, and the ability to assist in various dental procedures.

Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients throughout the process.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment.
Take and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
Provide support in various specialties including prosthodontics and pediatrics, adapting to the specific needs of each patient.
Manage patient flow by coordinating appointments and assisting with front desk duties as a dental receptionist when necessary.
Maintain organized medical records and ensure all patient information is up-to-date and confidential.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic is preferred.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices, medical terminology, and vital signs is essential.
Knowledge of prosthodontics and pediatrics is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Proficiency in using dental systems for record management is preferred.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
