Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including endodontics and pediatric dentistry.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop medical imaging as required for patient assessments.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic).
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
Support front office staff as needed with administrative tasks.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic is highly desirable.
Understanding of infection control practices in a dental environment.
Experience in endodontics or pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
