Who We're Looking For

Dental Hygienist for part-time position (2 positions available) 2 days/week each position (any 2 days Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday; 9-5pm or 8:30-4:30, can be flexible with hours) no Fridays or weekends).

Looking for great personality with excellent chairside manner with patient care as the #1 priority and work well with rest of the team.

Responsibilities

• Nitrous and local anesthetic (use of BTT strong topical gel for SRPS)
• Perio Chart, Prophy, Perio Maintenance and SRP procedures
• Be able to take check up xrays (4bw+2pa) for 1 hour appts (if no xrays or exam: 45 minutes for prophy and perio maintenance, 1 hour per 2 quad srps (with assistant help with setting up, stocking, and breaking down rooms)
• ReLeaf and Isolite type suction systems available for use
• Arestin/Atridox placement, Peridex, Clinpro products to aid in patient care
• Effectively communicate to patient with regard to their periodontal health prior to front office presentation of treatment plan
• Advise front office of treatment plan so they can present to the patient (example: Next visit: Right side srps with arestin then left side srps with arestin; 3 or 4 month perio maintenance recall)
