OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, utilizing dental systems effectively.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and treatment options.
Manage patient flow within the clinic, ensuring timely appointments and minimal wait times.
Monitor vital signs when necessary, particularly for pediatric patients to ensure their comfort and safety.
Support the dentist in pediatric dentistry by creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages young patients.

Skills

Proficient in assisting with various dental procedures and treatments.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental care and treatment.
Experience or familiarity with pediatrics and pediatric dentistry practices is preferred.
Ability to perform vital sign checks as part of patient assessments.
Competence in four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient workflow during procedures.
Familiarity with dental clinic operations, including scheduling and patient management systems.
Proficient in medical imaging techniques related to dentistry.
