```Job Overview:```We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dental professionals in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting with dental procedures.
```Duties:```- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during dental procedures by handing them instruments and materials- Take x-rays- Prepare and maintain patient records- Provide post-operative instructions to patients- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring impressions and making temporary crowns- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
```Requirements:```- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program- X-ray certification- Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry- Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix,- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
