OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the documentation review process to ensure accurate patient records.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the dental team.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including pediatric dentistry when necessary.
Stay updated on best practices and advancements in dental hygiene.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with patient assessment protocols and documentation systems is essential.
Knowledge of general dentistry practices, including pediatric dentistry, is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are required.
A valid dental hygiene license is mandatory.

This is a part time position. Wednesdays from 9:00AM-5:00PM.
