Location

25th floor of 450 Sutter, San Francisco
4 very safe blocks from Montgomery or Powell BART / MUNI. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Hosting the patient visit
• Imagining (pano, BWX, PAs, will train on near-IR)
• Coronal polish (traditional prophy, will train on AirFlow)
• Topical medicines (SDF, will train on Curodont, etc.)
• Sealants
• Chairside assist for simple fillings
• Assist in patient education (will be trained)
• Assist in charting
• Operatory turnover, sterilization
• Possible light front office work, covering receptionist’s breaks
• Contribute to patient flow and efficient use of operatories
• Contribute to schedule management

Administrative Duties:

• Contribute to maintaining accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Office communications, including phone calls and emails.
• Assist with inventory management and office supplies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications (required):

• Experience in a dental office setting: 1 year
• Certification in: coronal polish, X-rays
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Decent English writing skills
• Complete fluency in English
• Team player
• Openness to learn new techniques

Differentiators (not required):

• EFDA
• Fluency in Russian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish, Tagalog, or Vietnamese
• Familiarity with SDF, glass ionomer sealants
• Pediatric or Geriatric experience
• Sealant certification
• Social media fluency

Working hours

• Our hours are 9a-6p Mon-Fri & 8a-1p every other Saturday (1h lunch)
• You will work full time, days negotiable (Saturday is not a deal breaker)
