Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) - $60/hr

Who we are

Our family friendly, patient focused dental practice located in Placentia, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team Part-time. We are a private practice with a talented team and fantastic patients! We emphasize patient education and partner with specialists to provide comprehensive periodontal care. 

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are flexible, please apply if you can do either or both of those days.

Who We're Looking For

Registered Dental Hygienist Requirements:

• Have an active California Registered Dental Hygienist’s license 
• Have a valid CPR card 
• Be Laser certified or willing to obtain laser certification
• Be meticulous about oral health and the health of your patients 
• Be prepared to support and discuss needed periodontal care and recommended restorative treatment.

Responsibilities

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Duties:

• Providing dental health education about periodontal care
• Scaling and root planing, administering anesthesia, periodontal maintenance and prophylaxis
• Taking dental radiographs and intra-oral photos of teeth 
• Applying prophylactic/antibacterial materials, pit and fissure sealants and topical fluorides to help prevent tooth decay 
• Carrying out screening and monitoring procedures
