Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Granger, IN
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienists with 2+ years experience to join our growing comprehensive family dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, as well as periodontal therapy. Experience with Eaglesoft preferred. Monthly temp to part-time opportunities available. Flexible scheduling. Mondays 9am - 5pm, Tuesday & Thursday 11am - 6pm, Fridays 9am - 4pm Guaranteed daily compensation . Duties Perform dental prophylaxis, as well as periodontal therapy. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate oral health status and identify potential issues requiring further treatment. Proficiency in dental imaging, including use of intra-oral camera and medical record documentation. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination. Manage patient records accurately within EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Collaborate with dentists on treatment planning, documentation review, and ensuring comprehensive patient care. Uphold all standards of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and general dentistry best practices during clinical procedures. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. Proven 2+ years experience. Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft; experience with medical imaging and documentation review preferred. Strong knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse age groups, including pediatrics. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
