Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Gilbert, AZ
We are looking to add a part time hygienist to our team at Avalon Dental. We are a small, privately owned dental office in Gilbert. We are looking for a hygienist to work 1-2 days a week. Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures such as dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing - Take dental x-rays and intra oral pictures - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide oral health instructions - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Qualifications: - Valid state dental hygiene license - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program - Proficiency in using Dentrix - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
