Dental Hygienist - Cassopolis Family Clinic Network - Niles, MI

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist , you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Maintain accurate patient records using dental software (Epic) - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment - Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills: - Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of Michigan - Experience working in a dental office or clinic setting - Familiarity with dental software Dentrix for managing patient records desired - Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology - Proficiency in infection control protocols and sterilization techniques - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients on oral health practices effectively - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus We offer competitive compensation and benefits package for our Dental Hygienists .
