Stephen Klein Wellness Center | 2144 Cecil B. Moore Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19121 Full-Time | MondayâFriday, 8:30 AMâ4:30 PM Pay: $21.12â$24.84/hour (based on experience) What Youâll Do Provide chairside assistance and prepare patients for treatment Take diagnostic radiographs and impressions, and maintain accurate patient charts Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and post-treatment care Ensure infection control and equipment maintenance according to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA standards Manage inventory, lab work, and dental supplies efficiently Support quality improvement initiatives, including sealants, caries risk assessments, fluoride applications, and oral health promotion What Weâre Looking For Graduation from a Dental Assisting program or 2+ years of dental assisting experience EFDA certification a plus, or willing to earn Current DANB Radiation & Health Safety Certification or eligibility to obtain within 90 days CPR (BLS) Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days Proficiency with computers and electronic charting Knowledge of dental materials, instrumentation, procedures, and infection control Strong interpersonal skills, patience, cultural competency, and ability to work with diverse populations Ability to be positioned for long periods and maneuver to access patients Occasional lifting (40â50 lbs) and pushing (5â20 lbs) High level of manual dexterity Why Youâll Love Working Here Competitive pay and benefits, including health, dental, vision, and prescription coverage Company-funded life and disability insurance Paid parental leave, generous PTO, and sabbatical leave 401(k) with 100% employer match up to 5% Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven, supportive environment Project HOME is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
