We are currently seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced practice. Position Overview: As an experienced Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a smooth patient experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assisting with various dental procedures, including restorative, surgery, root canals, crown preps and a plus for experience in implants and clear aligner orthodontics. Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including restorative, extractions, root canals, crown preps, implant placement, denture cases and surgical procedures. Prepare and organize treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments and materials are ready for procedures. Proficient in dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is complete. Assist in sterilization and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide exceptional care and service. Qualifications: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a general dental practice. Full-time and Part-time opportunities available. Knowledge and experience in assisting with fillings, surgery, crown preps and root canals. Skilled in the fabrication of high-quality temporary crowns. Experience with implants and clear aligner orthodontics is a plus. Valid dental assistant certification and CPR certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
