Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Las Vegas, NV
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures, be knowledgeable of medical terminology and aseptic techniques, and have experience with medical imaging systems. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is committed to delivering the highest level of patient care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role. **Duties:** - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including but not limited to crown prep, implant and oral surgery, root canals, etc - Prepare the treatment room by setting up the necessary equipment, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. - Fabricate and adjust temps and removable appliances . - Take radiographs using X-ray machines, Pano/CBCT, ensuring that all images are of high quality and meet HIPAA guidelines. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. - Provide exceptional patient care and communication, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have. - Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist or practice manager, including maintaining dental supply inventory and routine dental equipment maintenance **Qualifications:** - MUST have dental assisting experience - Experience with medical imaging systems and HIPAA guidelines. - Strong understanding of dental procedures and medical terminology. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in using dental systems such as Dentrix.
