Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Miami, FL
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental care. This role plays a key part in promoting oral health and creating a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis), SRP Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) Conduct oral health assessments and periodontal charting Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and nutrition Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants Maintain accurate and timely patient records Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols Prepare treatment rooms and maintain dental equipment Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort Qualifications & Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in Florida Previous experience in a dental office setting CPR/BLS certification (required or willingness to obtain) Knowledge of dental software (Open Dental) and charting systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $35.00 per hour Work Location: In person
