Full time Dental Hygienist - Opitz Family Dental - Woodbridge, VA

We are looking for a personable, bright, and professional hygienist who wants to join us to grow together. We are open from Monday to Thursday and hour is 8 am to 5pm. The Hygienist will be responsible for performing various dental procedures on patients, cleaning teeth, taking x-rays and educating patients on proper oral health. We're looking for a candidate with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills who has the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions based on clinical judgement. Responsibilities: Examine a patient's teeth, gums, and other oral structures. Perform tests to determine the presence of oral diseases or conditions. Provide treatment to a patient in order to prevent or control oral diseases or conditions. Supervise dental assistants and dental aides. Provide information and education about proper oral hygiene and the use of dental appliances and devices. Train patients about proper oral hygiene and the use of dental devises and devices.
