Responsibilities: · Patient Management · Greet patients when they sign in and monitor arrival time o · Set up treatment rooms for procedures o · Escort patients to treatment room · Show care and concern, and help patients feel comfortable · Obtain and review health histories according to office protocol · Ensure patients are always attended to · Anticipate and assist dentistâs needs · Ensure patientsâ questions are answered thoroughly before they leave · Chart patients and record date, service rendered and any charges · Escort patients from the treatment room · Ensure proper treatment notes are recorded in patientâs chart · Perform clinical procedures as practice as directed by dentist · Give patient instruction and demonstrate when necessary · Monitor patient flow · Other duties as assigned Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance On-the-job training Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Ability to Commute: Albany, NY 12239 (Required) Work Location: In person
