Licensed Dental Assistant - Minneapolis Dentistry Company - Minneapolis, MN

Looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, able to do FMX and intake patients, as well as do chair side assisting for all procedures including orthodontic wire o-ties, photography, digital scanning, extractions, endodontics, restorative and more. Hourly wage is highly competitive and negotiable based on experience. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures (Dentist also likes to use Dryshield for most all procedures; Dental Dam for endodontics) - Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures - Take digital dental radiographs (x-rays) and intraoral and extra-oral photographs - Sterilize instruments and equipment - Perform basic laboratory tasks such as scanning teeth, digital printing -Make retainer trays, whitening trays, etc. - Maintain accurate patient records Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred but not necessary - Open Dental experience is a plus - Experience with portable NOMAD radiographs with digital Dexis sensor, CBCT, CEPH - Familiarity with adult dental procedures, surgery, composites, orthodontics, 3D scanning is a plus, otherwise willingness to learn Skills: - Ability to take radiographs (FMX, pano, cbct), digital scanning (Medit) and record patient information Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program - Current Minnesota certification in Dental Assisting Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $28.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Employee mentoring program Paid time off Ability to Relocate: Minneapolis, MN 55408: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
