Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Wall, NJ
Wall Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant who genuinely enjoys working with children and families and is interested in growing in a pediatric dental setting. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, reliable, and eager to learn , whether you already have pediatric experience or are looking to build it. This Role Is a Good Fit If You: Enjoy working with children , including younger or anxious patients Are interested in pediatric dentistry and want to develop specialty skills Are dependable, team-oriented, and open to learning Are comfortable helping wherever needed, including chairside and front desk support (Experience with front desk responsibilities is a strong plus, as this role includes cross-training to help support both clinical and administrative areas throughout the day.) Experience & Pay: Dental assisting experience required Pediatric dental experience is a strong plus Candidates with experience working with children (dental, childcare, school, etc.) are encouraged to apply Pay range: $20â28/hour , based on experience, pediatric comfort, and role progression Structured training and pay growth available for the right candidate Schedule: Part-time: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday No weekends Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric dental procedures Help prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical space Support children and parents with a calm, friendly, reassuring approach Cross-train to assist with scheduling, phones, and front desk tasks as needed Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and follow HIPAA guidelines Requirements: NJ Dental Radiographer / X-ray License (required) High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in dental assisting preferred.
