Registered Dental Hygienist - Dr. Christian Kjeldsen DDS - Petaluma, CA

Our family dental practice is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. We are currently looking for a hygienist to work: -Wednesdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Fridays (Optional): 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Summer hours: 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM) Required: Current and valid CA RDH license Current CPR certification X-ray certification & proficiency with digital X-rays Ability to multitask and communicate well with patients and colleagues Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care OSHA & HIPAA compliant Reliable & punctual Dentrix Ascend experience is a plus, but it can easily be taught Duties: Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing Take digital X-rays Assess patients’ oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions Assist the dentist during dental exam procedures Document patient clinical notes in Dentrix Ascend Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and preventive measures Maintain a clean and sterile work environment We are a well-established private practice located in Petaluma and are looking for the right individual to take great care of our patients.
