Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

• Perform annual (or as indicated) periodontal probing and document findings.

• Maintain current radiographs per clinical guidelines.

• Ensure refusal forms are signed and the front office is notified if X-rays or exams are declined.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records.

Scheduling & Workflow

• Review daily schedule prior to the start of the day.

• Dedicate the full one-hour appointment to comprehensive hygiene care.

• Schedule patients appropriately based on periodontal status and doctor recommendations.

Professional Standards

• Complete all documentation the same day as treatment.

• Communicate clearly with doctors and front office regarding patient needs or follow-up.

• Follow established workflows and treatment protocols.

• Participate in periodic chart and workflow audits to maintain quality and consistency.
