Overview: We’re looking for a friendly, organized Dental Office Receptionist/Patient Coordinator to join our team. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients and help keep our office running smoothly. If you have previous dental front desk or dental assisting experience , enjoy helping people, and are comfortable with Open Dental , we’d love to meet you. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional attitude Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently Perform insurance verification , eligibility checks, and help with claims Answer phones, handle patient inquiries, and provide excellent customer service Update patient records, collect forms, and assist with treatment plan explanations Accept co-pays, manage patient flow, and support daily office operations Maintain organized, HIPAA-compliant patient documents Requirements Previous dental office experience required Strong knowledge of dental terminology and insurance verification processes Experience with Open Dental preferred but not required Comfortable verifying insurance and assisting with claims Excellent communication, phone etiquette, and customer service skills Able to multitask, stay organized, and work well in a fast-paced environment Reliability, professionalism, and a friendly attitude are essential Spanish-speaking is required Come join a warm, patient-focused dental office where your experience and personality will shine.
